The Bosh-Less Raptors faced the Portland Trailblazers yesterday night in an exciting OT epic. The Trailblazers, with Randolph back in the lineup, didn’t seem to be in control until the fourth quarter as they went on a small run and took a 87-80 lead on the Raptors. The Raptors Ford, answered their prayers by scoring four of the 7 points and assisting another. After a Garbajosa tieing game shot, the Raptors had the ball with 8 seconds left tied at 90. TJ Ford took a shot and it bounced off the rim. Garbajosa then threw back in what looked a late game winner, but after frame by frame review, the ball was ruled in Garbajosa’s hands when the light came on. Then came OT, in which Raptor’s point gaurd TJ Ford lit it up from the field and scored 9 points of the Raptors 11 points in the Overtime Q. At the score 100-98 Portland, TJ Ford was foul by Jamaal Magloire, and scored 1 of 2 free throws. Making the score 100-99. After, Fred Jones grabbed the rebound on the Brandon Roy fade miss with 8 seconds left in OT. The Raptors held the ball with 8 seconds left. And now well go to Paul Jones calling the game off the Radio for the Raptors: “TJ Ford takes the ball, drives to the bucket, dishes it to Andrea Bargnani. Bargnani jump shot for the game, GOT IT!! GOT IT!! RAPTORS WIN!! RAPTORS WIN!!, the Toronto Raptors! Steal a win on the road as they defeat the Portland Trailblazers on the road 101-100.“ The Rook, Andrea Bargnani, nailed the game winning jumper with 3 seconds left to go in the game. Ford, who the trailblazers expected to shot the final shot, dished it off the Bargnani who nailed to the game winner right in the mug of the Portland bench. Andrea’s game winner, whom which was the only point of the second half for the rook, finished with 12 points. The Raptors look to face the Sonics and make it a 3 game winning streak on the road. The Raptors, whos road woes record was lifted to 5-12 last night, will look to make it 6-12 tonight. After this road game, the Raptors face a couple of home games against some Eastern/Western conferance mix where they are 8-3 at home. The Sonics game is to tip off at 10:00 PM EST Tonight.
